Community Spotlight: Ivanhoes
This month’s Community Spotlight is Ivanhoes. Owned by Ivan, Carol, and Mark Slain, the restaurant Ivanhoes has been famous for its 100 different shakes and sundaes since 1965. In addition to the ice cream treats, customers love the hamburgers, chicken salad, fruit salad, and tenderloin sandwiches. There are often long lines made up of tourists and locals excited to get a taste of the delicious food and variety of flavors of ice cream.
